A fatal accident has claimed the lives of four students from the federal University of Technology Akure. The accident which occurred on Saturday along Akure-Ilesha expressway in Ondo state
.
According to a student, there were 15 students inside the bus, these students were returning from Ibadan after attending a religious program. The accident occurred when the driver suddenly lost control on the appearance of a motorcycle claiming the lives of four students while 11 other had sustained sorts of injuries.
Policemen and Marshals of the Federal road safety commission arrived at the scene of the accident to assist the deceased and those injured
The SUG president of Futa chapter, Segun Oladele, who also confirmed the deaths, said that those injured are receiving treatment while the remains of the other four students has been deposited at the hospital in Akure.
