Residents of Ajah and Ogombo area in Lagos had been witnessing a lot of rainfall disaster, Yesterdays rain was somehow not expected. The climate is changing and sadly flood events
are becoming more common with just the beginning of rainy season. Lagos state being a coastal city, is prone to perennial flooding at any slightest rainfall. One of the worst hit area is Owode, Ogombo road where the roads have been made impassable due to flood. Motorcycles conveying its passengers have refused going towards such areas. By the way, who wants to get stuck inside the water!?
Take a look at Owode area, i wounder how this people convey themselves to and fro. No wonder it is called an island. People leaving on the island do experience floods when it comes to rainy season.

Residents on the island should therefore implement proper strategies to control flood.
