About seven students of Ekiti state university, Ado Ekiti were confirmed dead in an auto crash invoving a car and a commercial bus on Monday evening while on campus route. The incident
occured in front of the institution gate yesterday along NNPC-Iwokoro Ekiti State University road, as the students were leaving school after their exam was canceled due to strike.Others who sustained varying degrees of injuries have been taken to the hospital while the corpses have been deposited in the mortuary.
