The nominations for the 26th edition of the Black Entertainment Television (BET) awards has been announced scheduled to hold at
the Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, California on Sunday June 26, 2016. This year, Eight African artist were nominated in the BET awards. Among the nominees were two Nigerian artist- Wizkid and Yemi Alade. This marks the third nomination for Wizkid while Yemi Alade gets her second award for the Black Entertainment Television best.
Our artist are indeed doing us proud!
Wizkid and Yemi Alade have both picked up a nomination in the BET best international Act Africa category. Both were nominated along side Africa artist- Mzvee (Ghana), Aka (south Africa), Diamond Plantinumz (Tanzania), Cassper Nyovest (South Africa) and Black Cofee (South Africa).
