Two suspected arm robbers identified as hausa men were
caught yesterday evening by the students of the Federal University of
Technology in Owerri, Imo state. They were severely beaten before they
were set
ablaze!
According to an eye witness "Two armed Robbers were
caught yesterday around 8:00in Lafarge (a lodge) in umuchima, Futo, owerri, Imo
State, and the robbers were identified as hausa men. They were seriously beaten
before being burnt.
The students reacted due to anger and decided to carry out
jungle justice on them before due authority arrived. The Umuchima axis of
owerri is well known for high rate of robbery activities carried out on FUTO
students.
