Woman declared wanted by police for using younger sister to run a baby factory!

The Lagos state police public relations officer, SP Dolapo Badmos Has declared one Amaka Ogua wanted after it had rescued one of its victim said to be her younger sister for using her to get pregnant
while she sells the unborn child for N100k.

The victim whose name is Nkechi, 31, was said to have had a mental condition some years back while her sister takes advantage of her illness by using her as a baby factory to run a business at Mile 2, Lagos. The Police got a tip-off from an NGO, Child Protection Network on June 24, when they learnt that the suspect had already sold the unborn child for N100k while an advance of N50k deposit was made waiting for the baby to be delivered.

A CPN member, Toyin Oklagogo, said: "Nkechi was impregnated by a man brought home by her sister. Nkechi had a mental challenge some years back. She said at the police station that although she had memory loss, she could remember that her sister brought a man to impregnate her in the house.

She added that she was not in support of the sale of her baby, but her sister had collected money from a man. Nkechi also told us that she gave birth to a baby two years ago, but her sister had taken the child to an unknown person. So, the police are investigating child trafficking as well.

The police invited Amaka's husband, but he declined, saying the police were meddling in a family affair.” Meanwhile the victim had been rescued and the matter had also been reported at the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Ikeja, which took custody of Nkechi.
