A truck belonging to Total oil which loaded its content from the Apapa was said to be heading to an unknown destination, inward Oshodi, when it's tyre busted and exploded immediately around the
Cele bus-stop area of Lagos state. People were said to be trapped as two people were burnt to death beyond recognition.
According to eye-witnesses, the tanker driver and his conductor were trapped in the vehicle and reportedly burnt to death. Vehicles moving inward Apapa were prevented from gaining access as the fire spread to the entire expressway. It also hampered the free flow of traffic at both sides.
