Maiduguri Road reopens after almost 3 years of bokoharam insurgency!

At last, the Maiduguri to Gamboru/Ngala Road reopened after almost 3 years of closure as a result of the bokoharah insurgencies  which had left the state in a shattered condition
.

The governor of Borno state, Shettima was accompanied by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt- Gen TY Buratai as they flagged off the opening of Maiduguri to Gamboru/Ngala Road in Borno state yesterday, declaring the road safe while commending the soldiers for their commitment in tackling bokoharam insurgencies.

The road which was shutdown for almost 3 years has been one of the most commercially viable road in the country that links Nigeria to the Republic of Chad, Cameroon, Sudan and Central African Republic.

Gov, Shettima in his remark, commended  Pres. Buhari for choosing Lt-Gen. Buratai as COAS and further stated that the Nigerian Army under Buratai is winning the war and those that are against him are sympathisers of Boko Haram.
