The federal high court in Lagos today has granted Fani Kayode, Nenadi Usman and Danjuma Yusuf , bail in the sum of N250millon Naira each with two sureties for the trial of alleged stealing and
laundering about N4.9billion Naira. Delivering his ruling on their bail application today, the trial judge, justice Sule Hassan held that there was no evidence that the defendants will interfere with the trial if granted bail.
The Justice granted the defendants bail with two sureties which must be owners of landed properties within the court jurisdiction including evidence of tax clearance, they were also ordered to deposit their passport in the custody of the court pending the determination of the case.
Although the case has been further adjourned to 19th October, 2016 owing to the court annual vacation which commences today, Monday. Kayode was seen leaving the court premises with his wife feeling happy after court granted him bail.
