Nigeria Navy arrest boat with kegs of petrol!

The Nigeria navy said it will continue to make life unbearable for smugglers, the commanding officer of the Nigeria navy operating base in Badagry, Captain Simon Dogo made the remark while briefing
journalist on the its latest arrest of a boat loading with petrol. The smugglers who were still loading their keg at the time of the interception were reported to have fled the scene on sighting the Navy.

According to Simon Dogo ''This petroleum dealers take this product and bring it to Badagry areas here, they kept it officially because my lamp patrol have called them severally to check the documents they are holding for the product they are carrying, and they see that this product are genuinely and they are taking it to approved petrol station but they will not dispense it to the public rather they will wait in the night to dispense it into jerry cans and thereafter transfer them across to Benue republic. some find their way to Ghana to Togo. they claim they are business men but as far as am concern they are economic saboteurs because this product were meant to be dispensed and used by inhabitants of Badagry and its environs but they take it across thereby causing severe fuel scarcity within this environment.'' he explained.
