Enugu state government holds mass burial for the victims of the fulani herdsmen attack in Nimbo community. Nine of the victims which were proclaimed dead following the attack on 25th of April by
gunmen suspected to be fulani herdsmen, were finally laid to rest on Friday.
The Enugu state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, who led the State
Government’s delegation to the mass burial, gave his speech saying the incident “will ever remain
a dark, sad and solemn day in the memory of the people of Enugu State and
indeed Nigerians at large.”
