Coordinator of attacks on oil and gas facilities arrested!

The coordinator of series attack on oil and gas facilities including NNPC and Chevron was nabbed and arrested yesterday. He was paraded alongside with other suspects by the Nigeria Navy ship in

Delta State.

During a press conference, the commander of the NNS, Delta, Commodore Raimi Mohammed was pleased to announce its effort with the collaboration of other security agencies in arresting their culprits as the suspect was deeply involved in pipeline vandalism.

''The Nigeria army belives with the arrest of this suspect, the attacks on Chevron, NNPC oil and gas facilities will abate. We have decided not to give out name of the suspect because he is helping us with useful information that could lead to the arrest of others'' he says.

He said that the command was on the trail of his collaborators and foot-soldiers, whom he said were on the run, adding that the materials used in blowing up and vandalizing facilities had been recovered.
