The embattled MD of FMC Owerri, Dr Mrs Angela Uwakwem was
formally arraigned in court by the EFCC on the 11th October 2016 on
an 18-count charge for cases bothering on theft, financial
recklessness, Gross
misconduct, High handedness, violation of public service rule..etc. The video
shows the Brutal attack carried out on staff and patients of FMC Owerri by Dr
Mrs Angela Uwakwem on 19th Oct 2016 after she was illegally re-instated. Watch the clip below:
Nigerians were shocked as she was illegally re-instated by the FMH which to all is an act of impunity to the highest level. On the day of her illegal re-instatement, she ordered the police to fire over 20 canisters of Tear gas inside the hospital premises and in the process, 7 infants in the ICU ward were killed. The poor patients were seen running for their lives with their child.
The embittered workers angered by her re-instatement wore black attires carried placards with different inscriptions, put the main entrance of the hospital under lock and key protesting that she must go. The workers accused the government of foul-play and complicity in the report that allegedly cleared her.
