Police kills student during a peaceful school protest!

Abisoye Taiwo, a FUNAAB student was allegedly shot dead this morning by the police during a protest. The students of the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB) had taken to the

streets to protest against serial cases of robbery incidents in the school and the school management's nonchalant attitude about their plight.

What was meant as a peaceful protest later turned violent along the line when the police had killed a student. The school has now been shutdown to prevent a total breakdown of law and order.
