The United states have deported about 41 Nigerians back home
over drug and immigration offences. The deportees, all male, were dumped at the
cargo terminal of Murtala Mohammed International
Airport after arriving aboard
a chartered aircraft with registration number 733 MA operated by Miami Air International,
around 1pm today.
While 9 of them were deported for allegedly carrying drugs,
26 were arrested by the US Police while 6 of them were repatriated over
expiration of visas. Those repatriated for police and drug related issues were
handed over to the Nigeria Police Force and the NDLEA for investigations.
