Morata, 23, who is playing for Spain at Euro 2016, left Real
Madrid for Juventus in 2014 with an option for the Spanish club to buy him back
for 23 million pounds. Real Madrid have confirmed that
Alvaro Morata will return to
the club in the summer, after activating his buy-back clause of 23 million
British pounds. The 11-time Champions League winners made the announcement on
Tuesday.
A statement on the clubs Official website said “Real Madrid
C. F. have informed Juventus FC of their decision to salvage the federative
rights on the player, Álvaro Morata, who will join up with the first team for
pre-season training under the command of Zinedine Zidane.”
In his two seasons with the Italian club, the Spanish
striker scored 27 goals, winning two Serie A titles and two Coppa Italias.
