Gunmen planned kidnap attack on Governor Ambode's mother!

Heavily gunmen made a planned attempt on Friday evening to kidnap Christiana Ambode, the mother of Lagos state governor, while invading her residence, they disarmed the octogenarian's police detail
in an apparent attempt to abduct her, source said.

Mrs Ambode was however fortunate as a swift reinforcement by the state's police command thwarted the ploy of the assailants, who fled the scene. The backup team arrived at 8:10PM, according to source
