After a 2 years long search for the missing girls, one of the girls have been found.
Coming from activist members of vigilante groups in Nigeria in that region, Christie said they have
found this young girl who already had a child, they found her on the edge of the sambisa forest, that is where many people believe that abducted girls and women are being kept by the islamist group bokoharam. According to multiple sources, activist and vigilante group, the girl was found fetching firewood in that area, presumably to take back to the camp where this kidnap girls are being kept.
The young girl has been handed over to the military in Nigeria. According to the young girl, many of the chibok girls are still alive in sambisa forest.
