Retired Lt.-General, Abdulrahman Dambazua, the minister of interior has declared a public holiday on May 30 2016, to celebrate democracy day. This declaration was made on behalf of the federal
government today 25, May in Abuja.
The statement was further signed by the permanent secertary Mr Bassey Akpanyung. The Minister also assured Nigerians that with the signing into law of the 2016 appropriation act, the country would witness a ''New deal'' with its full implementation.
